Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to clarify the Award Budget section in Part 2, Section II of PAR-16-446 "NIAMS Clinical Trial Planning Grant (R34)." This change will be effective immediately for the next due date, November 1, 2017.

Part 2. Section II. Award Information

Currently reads:

Award Budget
Application budgets are limited to $300,000 in direct costs over a period of two years.  The amount of support requested should reflect the actual needs of the proposed project.

Modified to Read:

Award Budget
The combined budget for direct costs for the two-year project period may not exceed $300,000. Budget requests must be made in increments of $25,000 and may not exceed $250,000 in any single year.

All other aspects of this FOA remain the same.
