Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants that the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) will participate, effective immediately, in the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) PA-16-319 "Administrative Supplements for Research on Dietary Supplements (Admin Supp)". However, it is not the intent of NIAMS to support clinical trials through this FOA. Applicants who wish to submit clinical trials applications to the NIAMS are encouraged to utilize one of the NIAMS FOAs listed in "Policies and Guidelines for Investigator-Initiated Clinical Trials" on the NIAMS website.

The following modifications are made to PA-16-319 to reflect participation of NIAMS in this FOA.
