Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants that the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) will participate in the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) PA-16-040 "Exploratory/Developmental Bioengineering Research Grants (EBRG) (R21)". However, it is not the intent of NIAMS to support clinical trials through this FOA. Applicants who wish to submit clinical trials applications to the NIAMS are encouraged to utilize one of the NIAMS FOAs listed in "Policies and Guidelines for Investigator-Initiated Clinical Trials" on the NIAMS website.
