Purpose

This notice replaces NOT-AI-19-061 and revises the Institute’s K01 submission policy.

Beginning with the October 12, 2025 application due date and beyond, NIAID will support Mentored Research Scientist Development Award (K01) (PA-24-176 and its reissues) in all areas of the NIAID scientific mission. Therefore, applications are no longer restricted to areas of epidemiology and data science.
