Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform the extramural community that NOT-AI-20-051, “Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Select Research Areas for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19),” will expire on September 8, 2020.

SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 research continues to be a high priority for NIAID. Applicants interested in pursuing NIAID support for SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 research are encouraged to consider one of the parent funding opportunity announcements listed on NIAID’s website and should continue to monitor the NIH Guide to Grants and Contracts site for new opportunities that may arise.
