Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to announce the expiration of PAR-20-177 "Emergency Awards: Rapid Investigation of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) (R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)". Applications will no longer be accepted to this FOA after August 14, 2020. After this date, applicants are encouraged to consider applying to PA-20-195, NIH Exploratory/Developmental Research Grant Program (Parent R21 Clinical Trial Not Allowed).
