Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to clarify the Multiple PD/PI requirement in RFA-AI-14-009 "U.S-South Africa Program for Collaborative Biomedical Research (R01)".

While this FOA must list at least one Investigator affiliated with a U.S. institution as a PD/PI, and one eligible South African Investigator as a PD/PI, the South African investigator must be listed as the contact PD/PI and the eligible South African institution must be the applicant institution.

Also, application budgets are limited to $350,000 total costs per year for up to 5 years.  

All other aspects of this Funding Announcement remain the same.
