Purpose:

The purpose of this Notice to amend the NIAID Contact and Funds Available information of the FOA U.S.-India Bilateral Collaborative Research Partnerships (CRP) on the Prevention of HIV/AIDS and Co-morbidities (R21) RFA-AI-10-022 which can be found at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-AI-10-022.html.

The Funds Available language now reads:

Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards. It is anticipated that $3 million will be available in FY 2011 to fund 8 to 10 new awards. The Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) and/or other Indian Government research funding organization has issued a similar call for applications to support the Indian collaborators (http://www.icmr.nic.in/icmrnews/joint_call_HIV.htmJ). Awards issued under this FOA are contingent upon the availability of funds and the submission of a sufficient number of meritorious applications.

All other aspects of this FOA are unchanged.
