Description
The Division of AIDS (DAIDS) of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) announces that effective immediately , applications will no longer be accepted by NIAID in response to Program Announcement PAS-03-168, Enrolling Women and Minorities in HIV/AIDS Research Trials http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAS-03-168.html, which appeared in the NIH Guide on September 4, 2003.
The final submission date for applications to the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) is September 2, 2006. Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to contact the NINR Program representative to ensure that the proposed research project is within the scope of NINR research objectives.
The purpose of this program announcement is to support projects that will identify factors negatively impacting the recruitment of women and minorities, and plan and develop mechanisms and interventions that will facilitate the recruitment and retention of these populations in research trials.
