The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is amending RFA-AI-04-045 (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-AI-04-045.html), entitled Centers for Medical Countermeasures Against Radiation as follows: All applications that are considered responsive to the RFA will be reviewed as submitted. The Scientific Review Panel will not be allowed to recommend removal of any component(s) of an application in order to improve the overall score of that application. Applicants are encouraged to contact NIH program staff well in advance of the application submission date to discuss the proposed research program.
