DESCRIPTION

This amendment provides answers to questions submitted by potential offerors 
and the responses provided by NIAID.  The responses are offered for 
information only and do not modify or become part of the solicitation. 

Question 1: In the Statement of Work   Part E, on page 13 of 59, does the 
proposal have to address both E.I.1 (occult adventitious agents) and E.I.2 
(TSE)

Answer:      Offerors may submit a proposal that addresses E.I.1 and/or E.1.2.  
 
Question 2: In the Statement of Work   Part E, on page 13 of 59, does the 
proposal have to address multiple assays e.g. 1a   12d and 2a   2b?

Answer:      As stated in Part E of the Statement of Work (SOW), the multiple 
assays listed under Part E.I.1 and Part E.I.2 are only examples of potential 
assays.  Offerors may propose none, some, or all of the assays, that are 
listed as potential examples.  Alternatively, offerors may propose other 
assays, that they believe, meet the criteria outlined in Part E of the SOW.
