Section I. Funding Opportunity Description

This section was modified to add:

National Institute on Aging (NIA)

NIA leads the federal government in conducting and supporting research on aging and the health and well-being of older people and is the lead within NIH for research on Alzheimer’s disease and related forms of dementia (AD/ADRD). To fulfill its mission, NIA supports technologies which aim to increase the research community's understanding of the aging process, as well as diseases, conditions, and needs associated with growing older, in order to extend the healthy, active years of life.  NIA invites proposed MAGen Site applications that align with NIA's mission and that focus on pathogenic variants that are associated with diseases and conditions associated with growing older, including those associated with AD/ADRD.
