The purpose of this Notice is to inform potential applicants that the National Institute on Aging (NIA) will hold a pre-application technical assistance live webinar regarding applications for the companion Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) RFA-AG-24-030, Consortium for Economic Research on AD/ADRD Prevention, Treatment, and Care Coordinating Center (U54 Clinical Trial Optional) and RFA-AG-24-031 Consortium for Economic Research on AD/ADRD Prevention, Treatment, and Care (R01 Clinical Trial Optional) on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time.
RFA-AG-24-030 invites applications to establish a coordinating center. to advance economics research on Alzheimers disease (AD) and AD-related dementias (ADRD) by supporting a consortium of research projects examining the development and diffusion of treatment/care innovations, payment and treatment models for care, care quality and access for people living with dementia (PLWD) and their caregivers, as well as economic factors influencing disease progression to address NIA's AD/ADRD Research Implementation Milestones 1.P, 13.P, 13.M, and 13.N.
RFA-AG-24-031 invites applications proposing research projects that aim to advance economics research on AD/ADRD by examining the development and diffusion of treatment/care innovations, payment and treatment models for care and care access for PLWD and their caregivers, and economic factors influencing disease progression to address AD/ADRD research implementation milestones 1.P, 13.P, 13.M, and 13.N.
The live webinar will address questions submitted by participants prior to and during the webinar. Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to submit questions prior to the webinar to Dr. Partha Bhattacharyya.
