This Notice informs potential applicants of the inclusion of an annual meeting and its corresponding budget language in Section IV for Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) RFA-AG-22-018 "Leveraging Existing Large Databases and Cohorts to Better Understand the Risks and Benefits of Long-Term Osteoporosis Therapy and Drug Holiday (R01 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)."
The following Sections of RFA-AG-22-018 have been modified.
Part 2, Section I. Funding Opportunity Description
Modified to include (changes shown in bold italics):
To assist in the overall evaluation of the research program, awardees will participate in a yearly investigator meeting arranged by NIA to be held in the Bethesda, MD area. Applicants should include a budget for travel to these meetings.
Part 2, Section IV. Application and Submission Information
Currently reads:
R&R or Modular Budget: All instructions in the SF424 (R&R) Application Guide must be followed.
Modified to include (changes shown in bold italics):
R&R or Modular Budget: All instructions in the SF424 (R&R) Application Guide must be followed. Application budgets should include funds for key personnel to travel to the Bethesda, MD area for a yearly, one-day-long investigator meeting during the project period.
All other aspects of this FOA remain unchanged.
