Purpose

This Notice informs applicants of changes to the Foreign Institutions Eligibility information and letter of support requirement for Project/Performance Site Location in Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) PAR-21-109, "Early Stage Investigator Research Using Nonhuman Primate (NHP) Models (R21 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)".

Effective immediately, the following sections of PAR-21-109, "Early Stage Investigator Research Using Nonhuman Primate (NHP) Models (R21 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)" have been modified, as indicated below.

All instructions in the SF424 (R&R) Application Guide must be followed. Applications should include a letter of support from the home/host institution, indicating availability of NHP-related facilities and infrastructure for the proposed project, as evidence for its feasibility.

All other aspects of this FOA remain the same.
