Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards |
The NIA intends to commit $16 million in FY 2016 to fund 10 awards. |
Award Budget |
New applications may request a budget of up to $900,000 in direct costs for the first year. Requests for subsequent years may include a 3% increase per year. Renewal applications may request direct costs for all cores (both required and optional), and the other listed functions, i.e., satellites, and pilot grants at a level not exceeding the combined direct costs of all funded activities awarded during the final year of the present funding period plus a 3% increase, or $900,000 in the first year, whichever is larger. Requests for subsequent years may include a 3% increase per year. |
