RFA-AA-21-003 - SARS-CoV-2, COVID-19 and Consequences of Alcohol Use (R03 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)

This Notice informs applicants of an extension and change to the Key Dates for Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) RFA-AA-21-003, "SARS-CoV-2, COVID-19 and Consequences of Alcohol Use (R03 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)". Namely, one addtional due date and corresponding award information have been included, as descibed below. The FOA now expires on August 18, 2021.

Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards
NIAAA intends to commit a combined $1 million in total costs to fund applications in response to this FOA and its companion FOAs, RFA-AA-21-002 and RFA-AA-21-004, for FY 2021. For this R03 RFA, NIAAA expects to fund up to three awards.

Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards
NIAAA intends to commit a combined $1 million in total costs for FY 2021, and a combined $600,000 in total costs for FY 2022 to fund applications in response to this FOA and its companion FOAs, RFA-AA-21-002 and RFA-AA-21-004. For this R03 RFA, NIAAA expects to fund up to three awards.
All other aspects of this FOA remain the same.
