Detailed information for selected cell line:

Cell Line: RNJ18; disease-specific mutation
NIH Registration Number: 0128
NIH Approval Number: NIHhESC-11-0128
Available for Distribution: Yes
Provider Restrictions: No Restrictions

NIH Restrictions: NIH-funded research with this line is limited to research consistent with the following language from the informed consent document: "...characterization of stem cells from embryos discarded due to genetic defects or other abnormalities and the development of new methods for transforming stem cells into other cell types."

Additional Information: This cell line was derived from an embryo that definitively carried the maternal mutation for congenital nephrotic syndrome; however, the status of the paternal mutation is unknown.
