NIH Human Embryonic Stem Cell Registry
Research Using This Line is Eligible for NIH Funding

Detailed information for selected cell line:

Cell Line: WIBR5
NIH Registration Number: 0081
NIH Approval Number: NIHhESC-10-0081
Available for Distribution: Yes
Provider Restrictions: Whitehead Insitute may require documentation of acceptable ESCRO review (or equivalent) for the research planned with the line.

NIH Restrictions: (No Additional Restrictions)
Additional Information: WIBR4, 5, and 6 lines were derived under 5% O2 and were split in half at the first passage immediately after stable establishment of hESCs, with one half remaining at 5% O2 (WIBR4/5/6 5%) and the other half shifted to culture under 20% O2 (WIBR4/5/6 20%). The oxygen concentration under which the line was maintained after the first splitting may be indicated with a superscript. Please see Lengner CJ et al. (2010) Derivation of pre-x inactivation human embryonic stem cell line in physiological oxygen conditions. Cell. 141(5):872-83 for further information.
