OLAW Welcomes Anne Smogur-Saldivar

Anne Smogur-Saldívar joined the Division of Policy and Education as a Program Specialist in November 2015. Ms. Smogur-Saldívar has experience in the design and implementation of human rights-based trainings, monitoring and evaluation, research, data analysis, and policy recommendations. She was appointed through the NIH Recent Graduates Pathways Program after obtaining a Master of Science in International Health Policy and Management from the Heller School for Social Policy & Management at Brandeis University, where her studies were funded in part by a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer scholarship. Before serving in Jordan from 2010-2012, Ms. Smogur-Saldívar spent nearly a decade in public health fieldwork and advocacy, primarily with marginalized groups experiencing homelessness and most-at-risk populations living with HIV. Ms. Smogur-Saldívar is excited to join OLAW’s work on development, implementation, and evaluation of health research policy.
