The Diagnostic Imaging Program will host an informational session for those
investigators planning to submit applications in response to RFA CA-97-020,
Cooperative Trials in Diagnostic Imaging.  This session will be held on Dec. 18,
1997, from 8:00 am.- 11:00 am in Building 31, Conference Room 6C9 on the NIH
Campus in Bethesda, MD.  Present at this session will be NCI staff members from
the Diagnostic Imaging Program, the Clinical Trials Evaluation Program including
the Clinical Investigations Branch and the Clinical Trials Monitoring Branch, the
Special Review and Referral Resources Branch, the Grants Management Branch, and
the Office of Informatics.  These representatives will be available to provide
information and to answer questions relevant to applications responding to this

This session will be held only if there is sufficient interest from the
investigators.  Therefore, it is required that investigators contact the NCI
staff member listed below by December 5th, 1997 to confirm their attendance and
to obtain further information regarding the site of the meeting.  If there is
insufficient interest, the meeting will not be convened, and investigators who
had confirmed attendance will be contacted by NCI on December 8th, 1997.  If the
meeting occurs, transcripts will be available upon request.
