NAME CHANGE FOR DIVISION OF RESEARCH GRANTS NIH GUIDE, Volume 26, Number 32, September 26, 1997 Center for Scientific Review The Division of Research Grants (DRG) has been renamed the Center for Scientific Review. The name change highlights the fact that the Center is the focal point at NIH for the conduct of peer review, and thus, more accurately reflects the mission of the organization. Establishment of the Center is designed to signal a broadening of the mission to include new emphasis on the development and implementation of innovative and flexible ways to conduct referral and review for all aspects of science. The DRG/CSR Home Page will be updated soon to reflect the name change and reorganization. However, the home page URL (http://drg.nih.gov) and staff E-mail addresses will continue to include the DRG initials for some time. The room number, mail stop code, and street address for submitting grant applications are NOT changed. All competing grant applications submitted to the National Institutes of Health must be sent to: CENTER FOR SCIENTIFIC REVIEW NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH 6701 ROCKLEDGE DRIVE, ROOM 1040 - MSC 7710 BETHESDA, MD 20892-7710 BETHESDA, MD 20817 (for express/courier service)
