National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases

 

The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin

Diseases (NIAMS) will review applications for Multipurpose Arthritis

and Musculoskeletal Diseases Centers (P60) in clusters of three to

five by one review committee.  Site visits will not be part of the

review process.  This notice applies to applications for the February

1, 1996, receipt date and later.  Some applications may be deferred

to a subsequent round.

 

This is a process change only.  It will increase the efficiency and

reduce the cost of review.  An opportunity for applicant input will

be retained.  Moreover, the 1994 guidelines for this P60 mechanism

are not affected by this review process change.
