National Cancer Institute



The National Cancer Institute (NCI) plans to conduct a briefing

session on the Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) in

Lung Cancer program on Friday, March 17, 1995.  The briefing will be

held in Conference Room H at Executive Plaza North, 6130 Executive

Boulevard, Rockville, MD.  This briefing is for those who plan to

submit a letter of intent in response to the RFA for SPOREs in Lung

Cancer (CA-95-008 NIH Guide, Vol. 24, No. 5, February 10, 1995).  The

briefing will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will adjourn by noon.  There

will be ample time for questions and answers.  A summary of the

proceedings including questions and answers will be available upon

request.



The meeting is open to the public and all interested parties are

invited to attend.  Rooms for Thursday night, March 16, are available

at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at a government rate of $114 including tax.

The hotel is located at 1750 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD.  This is

about a five minute taxi ride to the Executive Plaza North location

for the briefing.  Reservations must be made directly to the hotel by

March 1 at (301) 468-1100 or 1-800-2-CROWNE.  To receive the

government rate, you should indicate rate code CXO-Cygnus

Corporation.
