SINGLE ANNUAL RECEIPT DATE OF INSTITUTIONAL NRSA APPLICATIONS NIH GUIDE, Volume 23, Number 41, November 25, 1994 P.T. Keywords: National Institute on Aging The National Institute on Aging (NIA) announces that it will have a single annual receipt date for National Research Service Award (NRSA) Institutional Research Training Grant (T32) applications (new, competing renewal and supplemental). That receipt date will be May 10. The change will be effective following the January 10, 1995 receipt date. Thus, in 1995 applications will be accepted for review on January 10 and on May 10, but not on September 10. Beginning in 1996 applications will be accepted for review only on May 10. The reasons for this change to a single receipt date are: (1) To allow improved cost management of competing and noncompeting awards, and (2) To enable review of training grants to be held at a single National Advisory Council round (January) each year, to ensure increased attention to these activities.
