Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants that additional NIH components will participate in RFA-TW-16-001 and to detail additional interest of NICHD.

Interests of Participating NIH Institutes, Centers and Offices:
Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) is interested in applications that strengthen injury and trauma research capacity, in low- and middle-income countries, where the research and training focus is on children and adolescents. The Strategic Plan of the Pediatric Trauma and Critical Illness Branch at NICHD can be found here http://www.nichd.nih.gov/publications/pubs/Documents/PediatricTrauma_StrategicPlan.pdf.

Part 2. Section 2. Award Information

NICHD will participate with $25,000/year for 5 years contingent upon NICHD-relevant applications.
