Purpose

This notice is to inform potential applicants that the competition for the Phase II International Implementation, Clinical, Operational, and Health Services Research Training Award for AIDS and Tuberculosis Program (U2R) has been suspended for the FY 2012 funding cycle.

No applications will be accepted in response to PAR-10-218, Phase II International Implementation, Clinical, Operational, and Health Services Research Training Award for AIDS and Tuberculosis (U2R) http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-10-218.html in 2011. The previously scheduled application receipt date, August 16, 2011 will not be active.

FIC is in the process of considering the re-organization and re-configuration of its HIV research training programs (see NOT-TW-10-006- http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-TW-10-006.html). Future directions for this program will be announced in the NIH Guide when the planning process is completed.
