NOTICE OF LIMITED COMPETITION - COMPETITIVE SUPPLEMENTS TO CENTERS OF BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH EXCELLENCE (COBRE) FOR ALTERATION AND RENOVATION AND EQUIPMENT RELEASE DATE: December 2, 2002 NOTICE: NOT-RR-03-001 National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) (http://www.ncrr.nih.gov) The National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) encourages the submission of competitive individual resource improvement supplemental grant applications from Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE). The major objective of these supplements is to upgrade facilities and to provide instrumentation to support the conduct of COBRE sponsored biomedical and behavioral research. Support is limited to alterations and renovations (A&R) for the improvement of research laboratories and animal facilities, and to the purchase of major equipment items. Support is contingent on availability of funds and eligibility is restricted to currently funded COBRE Principal Investigators only. Please note that the period of support cannot exceed the duration of the parent grant. The deadline for receipt of applications is February 12, 2003.
