TYPE I DIABETES MURINE MODEL RESOURCE: NOTICE OF LIMITED COMPETITION

National Center for Research Resources
The National Center for Research Resources (NCRR), Division of
Comparative Medicine, is announcing a limited competition for competing
supplemental applications from U42 Cooperative Agreements and P40
Resource Grants with extensive expertise and experience necessary to
establish repositories for Type I diabetes mouse models. These Centers
will enhance the availability and help ensure the quality of
genetically altered murine models of Type I diabetes. Each Center must
be capable of importing, maintaining, and providing animals,
cryopreserving, storing and reconstituting embryos, genotyping, and
linking with the existing Mutant Mouse Regional Resource Center
informatics network.
NCRR staff will contact all eligible applicants directly regarding
application procedures and format.
