INFORMATIONAL MEETING FOR POTENTIAL APPLICANTS TO THE NCRR SCIENCE EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP AWARD Release Date: June 12, 2000 NOTICE: RR-00-009 National Center for Research Resources The Research Infrastructure (RI) area of the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) announces a grantsmanship workshop for potential applications to the FY 2001 Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) program. The workshop will be starting at 8:00 a.m. on August 2, 2000, in Lister Hill Center Auditorium, NIH Main Campus, Bethesda, Maryland. This workshop will address the preparation of applications, clarify issues, and answer questions. The intent of the SEPA program is to encourage biomedical and/or behavioral scientists to work as partners with science educators, science museums, science technology centers, media experts, and other interested organizations on projects to improve the student (K-12) and the public understanding of the health sciences and increase interest of young people in health science careers.
