MENTORED RESEARCH SCIENTIST DEVELOPMENT AWARD (K01)

National Center for Research Resources (NCRR)

NCRR continues to offer the K01 award: Special Emphasis Research Career 
Award (SERCA) in Pathology and Comparative Medicine.  An important 
eligibility requirement is that the applicant must possess a D.V.M. or 
V.M.D. degree from a School of Veterinary Medicine which is accredited 
by the American Veterinary Medical Association.  General guidelines for 
the K01 are provided in NIH Guide, Volume 24, Number 15, April 28, 1995 
(PA-95-049).  Supplementary guidelines for the SERCA are available from 
the Comparative Medicine area, NCRR, and on the Comparative Medicine 
website:  http://www.ncrr.nih.gov/compmed/cmguidfl.pdf.
