This addendum to RFA-RM-05-008, "Regional Translational Research Center Planning Grants," released in the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts on October 1, 2004, gives notice of clarification to RFA-RM-05-008 (at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-RM-05-008.html). A second round of planning grants, which was noted as a possibility for FY2005, has been postponed and will not occur in 2005.

Please note that an RFA for proposals to develop RTRCs is still planned for release in fall 2005. Interested parties need not have applied for, or been awarded, a planning grant to submit an application.
