Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform the applicants of changes to the second level review for RFA-PM-16-002 and RFA-PM-16-003.

Under Section V, part 2 "Review and Selection Process" of RFA-PM-16-002 and RFA-PM-16-003, it states: "Following initial peer review, recommended applications will receive a second level of review by the NIH Council of Councils."

The locus of review is being changed from the NIH Council of Councils to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Advisory Council (NHLBAC).

Please note that these changes do not affect RFA-PM-16-001 or RFA-PM-16-004. For these two initiatives, the second-level of review will remain the NIH Council of Councils.

Final funding decisions for all of these awards will be made by the PMI Cohort Program Director.
