The purpose of this notice is to notify potential applicants of changes to announcement PAR-04-106.
- August 6, 2007 is the last receipt date of the state-based surveillance program under PAR 04-106.
- Approximately $750,000 will be available each year to fund up to five two-year awards beginning in FY2008.
- NIOSH is changing the eligibility for this announcement and will only accept applications from institutions with an existing or previous cooperative agreement under PAR 04-106.
- Special consideration will be given to applications for “Fundamental Programs” as defined in PAR-04-106.
- A new announcement for the state-based surveillance program will be published in 2008 with an expected receipt date of August 6, 2008.
- Information about funding for the state-based occupational safety and health surveillance program, including the complete announcement for PAR-04-106, can be found on the NIOSH website (http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/oep/funding.html#coop).
