Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform applicants of a correction to the eligibility of foreign components in RFA-OD-24-010 "Building Sustainable Software Tools for Open Science (R03 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)”. The Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) has been revised to indicate that foreign components are allowed. Therefore, Part 2. Section III. Eligibility Information has been revised as follows.

1. Eligible Applicants

The NOFO currently reads:

Foreign Organizations

Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Organizations) are not eligible to apply.

Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U.S. Organizations are not eligible to apply.

The NOFO is modified to read (changes noted in bold italics):

Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U.S. Organizations are not eligible to apply.

Foreign components, as defined in the NIH Grants Policy Statement, are allowed.

All other aspects of this NOFO remain unchanged.
