NIH SEED supports the participation of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer Research (STTR) recipients at life science investor and partnering events throughout the year. This program is part of a comprehensive approach NIH has established to enable the commercialization of healthcare technologies and services developed with NIH support.
Selected companies may receive the following benefits:
at least one paid registration to attend an investor or partnering event
company presentation/pitch opportunity
pre-event coaching from life science industry experts
access to event partnership facilitation systems
exhibition space (virtual and/or real)
Eligibility: Companies must have received NIH SBIR or STTR funding (grant or contract) within the last 3 calendar years. For companies with multiple awards, only one project will be considered each year. The program supports over 100 companies each year.
January 20, 2023 is the deadline to request support. Within 3 months of the deadline, SEED will notify all companies if they have been matched to an upcoming showcase event.
