Purpose

On September 4, 2014, OBSSR published Funding Opportunity Announcement PA-14-335 "Advancing Interventions to Improve Medication Adherence (R21)".  The purpose of this Notice is to correct information contained in the Section I. Funding Opportunity Description outlining the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease's (NIDDK) research interests.  NIDDK did not sign on to this FOA; thus information contained in the text concerning NIDDK is in error.

Part 2. Section I. Funding Opportunity Description

Research Objectives

The following text is removed from the FOA.

"The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) is interested in supporting research to improve medication adherence relevant to the diseases of interest to the NIDDK such as type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, and chronic kidney disease. Approaches tested to improve adherence should have the potential to have a significant effect on a clinical outcome such as glycemic control. "

All other aspects of this FOA remain unchanged.
