Purpose

This Notice is to clarify under what conditions investigators in tenure-track positions are eligible to apply for the Mentored Clinical Scientist Research Career Development Award in Tobacco Control Regulatory Research (K08). Potential applicants who are in tenure-track positions are still eligible if, at the time of award, they have not been and are not currently the PD/PI on NIH research projects (R01), program projects (P01), center grants (P50), sub-projects of program projects (P01), sub-projects of center grants (P50), other career development awards (K awards), or the equivalent. Applicants must also meet all other eligibility criteria outlined in the FOA.
