NIH is currently seeking public comment on a proposed change to the definition of “human embryonic stem cells” in the NIH Guidelines for Human Stem Cell Research []. While NIH is considering public comment on the proposed change, the following human embryonic stem cell lines (hESCs) are currently on hold and should not be used in NIH-funded research:
