SCAW Winter Conference – “Animal Behavior, Welfare and Science: IACUC Roles”

The Scientists Center for Animal Welfare (SCAW) will present the Winter Conference on December 8 and 9, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas with support from The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio, the NIH Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare (OLAW), and the Animal Care Division, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The two day conference is for IACUC members and administrators, principal investigators, attending veterinarians, regulatory personnel, and laboratory animal care staff. The program will include topics that explore advances in research animal welfare.

Workshop venue

The conference will be held in downtown San Antonio, December 8 and 9, at the historic Menger Hotel.
