The 10th Annual NIH Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Conference will be held July 22-23, 2008, in Atlanta, GA.

Celebrating the Silver anniversary of the SBIR program, this two-day meeting will highlight many of the innovative products that have been developed with SBIR funds.  Numerous and diverse sessions have been planned to provide a comprehensive overview of the NIH SBIR/STTR programs with a focus on “Transforming Medicine Through Innovation.” 

This year’s annual conference, hosted by the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute, encompasses two full days of in-depth information about the NIH SBIR and STTR programs, from funding opportunity identification and application preparation through post award administration. 

Highlights of this year’s program:

  • CSR’s Director, Dr. Toni Scarpa: “Challenges and Opportunities in Peer Review: A Vision for Ensuring Its Strategic National Value”
  • Advances in Human Health: Scientific Poster Presentations by NIH SBIR and STTR awardees
