Purpose

The purpose of this notice is to inform applicants of the early expiration of PAR-24-204 - Summer Research Education Experience Program (R25 Clinical Trial Not Allowed). The remaining Summer R25 receipt date of March 17, 2027 is canceled and Participating ICs will no longer accept applications under this NOFO.

Active Summer R25 awards are not affected by this Notice and are anticipated to continue until the end of their project period, as scheduled. Summer R25 applications submitted for the March 17, 2026 receipt date will undergo peer review and will be considered for funding in accordance with Participating IC priorities and the availability of funds.
