Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to change the Foreign Component Eligibility in RFA-NS-18-001 "Centers Without Walls for Collaborative Research in the Epilepsies: Functional Evaluation of Human Genetic Variants (U54)" to allow for Foreign components, as defined in the NIH Grants Policy Statement. Section III.1 Eligible Applicants, Eligible Organizations, Foreign Institutions subsection has been updated to reflect this change:

Foreign Institutions
Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are not eligible to apply.
Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U.S. Organizations are not eligible to apply.
Foreign components, as defined in the NIH Grants Policy Statement, are not allowed.

Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are not eligible to apply.
Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U.S. Organizations are not eligible to apply.
