Purpose

This Notice is to inform potential applicants that NINDS will discontinue PAR-13-127 "NINDS Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Awards for Individual Predoctoral Fellows in MD-PhD Programs (F31)".   New applications will be accepted by NINDS for this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) through the April 8, 2014, due date (May 7, 2014, for AIDS and AIDS-related applications).   In order to accommodate applicants who need to revise and resubmit their fellowship applications, NINDS will accept resubmission applications (A1) through the December 8, 2014, due date (January 7, 2015, for AIDS and AIDS-related applications).

Starting with the April 8, 2014, fellowship application due date, applicants may submit F30 applications to NINDS to support their dual-degree training using the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Predoctoral MD/PhD or Other Dual-Doctoral Degree Fellowship (Parent F30).
