Expiration of PAR-05-160, NINDS Mentored Research and Clinical Scientist Development Awards in Translational Research

Purpose

NINDS currently accepts applications for K01 and K08 mentored research and clinical scientist development awards in translational research under PAR-05-160.  The purpose of this Notice is to inform potential applicants that NINDS will no longer accept applications under PAR-05-160 after the February 12, 2008 receipt date for new applications and after the July 12, 2008 receipt date for resubmission applications.  New AIDS and AIDS-related applications will no longer be accepted after the May 7, 2008 receipt date and resubmission AIDS and AIDS-related applications will no longer be accepted after the September 7, 2008 receipt date.

After the expiration of PAR-05-160, NINDS will continue to accept K01 applications under PAR-05-071 to promote diversity in neuroscience research and under PA-06-001 for re-entry into the neurological sciences, and will continue to accept K08 applications under PA-06-512.
