NOTICE OF CORRECTION - NINDS CLINICAL TRIAL PLANNING GRANT (PAR-03-051)

PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE:

This notice is intended to clarify the Clinical Trial Planning Grant 
Program announcement by the National Institute of Neurological 
Disorders and Stroke (NINDS)

PAR-03-051 indicates that the R21 grant mechanism will be used.  
Subsequent to the publication of this PAR, NIH has established a new 
grant mechanism, the Clinical Trial Planning Grant.  Therefore, 
starting with the April 15, 2004 receipt date, NINDS will use the NIH 
Clinical Trial Planning Grant (R34) award mechanism for PAR-03-151 and 
will provide up to $150,000 in direct costs for a single year.  The 
award cannot be renewed.  Applicants should refer to the NIH Clinical 
Trial Planning Grant Program for special requirements and review 
criteria for a planning grant application
