On September 24, 2021, The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Center for Global Mental Health Research (CGMHR) issued the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) RFA-MH-22-100, "Effectiveness and Implementation Research for Post-Acute Interventions to Optimize Long-Term Mental Health Outcomes in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (R34 Clinical Trial Optional)".
