Notice of Technical Assistance Webinar for Applications to RFA-LM-11-001, NLM Institutional Training Grants for Research Training in Biomedical Informatics (T-15)

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) will hold a pre-application webinar on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 to provide an opportunity for NLM staff to explain the goals of RFA-LM-11-001, NLM Institutional Training Grants for Research Training in Biomedical Informatics, and to answer questions from interested parties. All prospective applicants are invited to participate. This session will provide a brief overview of the funding announcement's components, followed by responses to questions received in advance. Topics will include program goals, budget factors, review criteria and timing of awards.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to submit their questions about the FOA to nlmepwebinar@mail.nih.gov in advance of the event. For questions, please enter "Question NLM Training" in the subject line of your message. Prospective applicants who plan to participate in the meeting should send an e-mail to nlmepwebinar@mail.nih.gov by March 18, 2011 expressing their interest, in order to receive logistical information about the session such as time and log-in information. In the subject line, please enter "Technical Session". Please include your name, institution, and an e-mail address. This logistical information will be posted on the NLM Extramural programs web site at http://www.nlm.nih.gov/ep by close of business on March 18, 2011.

Following the session, a link to the archive will be posted at http://www.nlm.nih.gov/ep and will be available there until April 29, 2011. Potential applicants who miss the session are encouraged to use the archive as a source of answers to their questions. Any additional questions not addressed in the archive can be directed to the contact listed below. In the case of a government shutdown, an alternate meeting date will be posted at this site.
