Pre-Application Meeting:   July 1, 2002

AHRQ will hold a pre-application informational meeting for investigators 
planning to submit applications in response to the Request for Applications 
"AHRQ National Research Service Award Institutional Research Training 
Grants"(HS-03-001).  This public meeting will provide prospective applicants 
with an opportunity to receive answers to their questions about the RFA. AHRQ 
program, peer review, and grants management staff will be available to 
discuss the intent and requirements of the RFA and to answer audience 
questions.  Potential applicants to the RFA are not required to attend the 
pre-application meeting.  A written summary of the meeting will be posted on 
the AHRQ web-site at http://www.ahrq.gov as a public document as soon as 
possible after the meeting, to provide applicants unable to attend the 
meeting with access to the proceedings.  All applicants are strongly 
encouraged to discuss their applications with Dr. Karen Rudzinski (AHRQ) as 
early as possible in the process. 

This pre-application meeting is open to the public and will be held at the
