Purpose
The purpose of this Notice is to inform potential applicants of a revision to the Award Budget Table for RFA-HL-19-015 "Physician-Scientist (PS) Research Award for Early Stage Investigators (ESIs) (R01 - Clinical Trial Optional)." Beginning with the June 4, 2019 application due date, the Award Budget section will be amended to require budgets not to exceed $225,000.
The following section of RFA-HL-19-015 has been modified (shown in bold-italics).
Section II. Award Budget
CURRENT LANGUAGE
Application budgets may not exceed direct costs of $240,000 per fiscal year. Salary requests must be compliant with NIH guidance on salary limitation for grants and cooperative agreements (NOT-OD-18-137).
REVISED LANGUAGE
Application budgets may not exceed direct costs of $225,000 per fiscal year. Salary requests must be compliant with NIH guidance on salary limitation for grants and cooperative agreements (NOT-OD-18-137).
All other aspects of this FOA remain unchanged.
